Annual Bus Trip

Mr. Eckberg from Kaeser has again offered to take us out in his company’s bus.
This time our destination is Geelong. On route you will find many changes in the landscape of the continually growing Wyndham Shire. We will pass the mega construction site for the Westgate Tunnel, travel along the Esplanade in Geelong and disembark on the Geelong Waterfront. There you will have the opportunity for a walk to admire the interesting bollards and the old carousel. There are also a large number of cafés where you can have a light lunch.
On the way home we will visit the small, cosy German Club in Geelong. The club ladies will provide coffee and cake, and the club president will give us a brief introduction into the lovely history of this carnival club K.G. Naerrische Insulaner.

Date: Thursday, 9 May 2019
Depart: 9.30 am from outside the National Gallery of Victoria
Return: approx. 4.00 pm
